Marathon Mastery is a complete marathon training programme for first-time and recreational runners who want to train smarter, build confidence, and enjoy their best marathon experience.

Whether your goal is to complete your first 42.2km or improve on a previous marathon, Marathon Mastery provides a structured pathway from your current fitness level through to race day. Your training adapts to your experience, fitness, and goals, helping you progress safely and consistently.

Designed for runners who can comfortably run for around 60 minutes and are regularly running at least three times per week, the programme follows Coach Ray's proven Hard Day / Easy Day philosophy and progressive periodisation model. Each week combines long runs, easy aerobic running, and quality sessions to steadily build endurance, strength, and confidence while reducing the risk of injury and burnout.

Choose from 3, 4, or 5 runs per week to suit your lifestyle, with every workout delivered through the Training Tilt app. Sessions include detailed instructions, Coach Ray's Level-based intensity guidance, and pace, heart rate, and power targets where appropriate. Training Tilt also integrates with Garmin and other popular fitness devices.

As a member, you'll receive access to the private VIP Facebook community, fortnightly group coaching calls, and ongoing support throughout your marathon journey. Optional strength training programmes and stretching sessions are also available.

The goal isn't simply to get you to the start line—it's to help you arrive fit, confident, prepared, and ready to conquer 42.2km.
